Worth the trip
Half an hour on the road deserves the things a specialist shop does best.
Marine is one. We're an authorised TMC stockist, so as well as the marine fish and corals in the shop we can order in from TMC's range, and we stock marine salt or mixed saltwater and RO water for the trip home. Pond keepers come for koi and coldwater fish, and for pond supplies from pumps and UV to liners and netting.
Reptiles are the other. Seeing an animal in person, checking the size of vivarium you'll need and asking about heat and UVB before you commit is what the drive is for. We'll tell you if we think it isn't the right time.
Tropical and aquarium
Freshwater keepers get the full range too: tropical fish, live plants, shrimp and snails, plus aquarium equipment from aquariums and cabinets to filters, heaters and lighting. We offer water testing in the shop, and we're listed as a stockist for D-D The Aquarium Solution.
New tank? Set it up and cycle it before the fish come home. If you're not sure how, ask us on the phone or in the shop.

Before you set off
The whole household
While you're here, do the boring shopping too. Dog and cat food, hay, bedding and bird seed all fit in the boot beside the exciting stuff.
