Directions
The A134 does almost all the work. The top of Tut Hill is closed, so please come in this way round. If your sat nav suggests a different way, follow these directions. From the town centre:

Worth the trip
Half an hour is long enough to want a reason. These are the ones we hear most.
Ponds are a big one. Koi and pond keepers come for koi and coldwater fish and the pond supplies to go with them, from pumps and filters to liners, netting and treatments. Reef keepers come because we're an authorised TMC stockist, so as well as what's in the shop we can order in from TMC's range. Read about marine fish, then ring us before you set off.
The other reason is reptiles. If you've been reading up on a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko or a corn snake, come and talk it through with us before anything goes home. We'd rather say not yet than sell you the wrong set-up.
Tropical and aquarium
Freshwater keepers are welcome too. We keep tropical fish, from livebearers and community fish to catfish, plecos, shrimp and live plants, along with the aquarium equipment that keeps them well. We offer water testing in the shop, and we're listed as a stockist for D-D The Aquarium Solution.
Bring a note of your tank size and what already lives in it. It makes a 21-mile question a lot easier to answer properly.

Before you set off
The whole household
It's a long way to come for one thing, so bring the whole list. Dogs, cats, small animals and birds are all catered for.

About 21 miles by road, and typically about 33 minutes off-peak. Long Melford and the edge of Bury St Edmunds can be slow at busy times, so allow a little extra.
Very nearly. The A134 takes you from Sudbury, through Long Melford, all the way to the edge of Bury St Edmunds. From there it's a short run west on the A14, then a few roundabouts to Tut Hill.
The north-west side, at Fornham All Saints, just off the A14. Coming from Sudbury you arrive from the south, so follow the signs for the A14 rather than heading into the town centre.
Yes. Koi are a speciality, and we keep goldfish, fancy goldfish and other pond fish too, plus pond pumps, filters and UV, liners, netting, pond plants and treatments. Bring your pond size and a note of what's already in it.
There's free parking on site, access is step-free, and dogs are welcome on a lead. We take card, contactless and cash.
