Worth the trip
A shop 15 miles from Thetford has to earn the drive. Here's where the trip pays off.
Keep a reef tank? We can order in from TMC's range of marine fish and corals, so read about marine fish and ring us to talk it through. Koi and pond keepers can see koi and coldwater fish and browse pond supplies in one visit.
Keeping reptiles, or thinking about one? Read up on reptiles first, then come and chat. We'd rather you got the set-up right than took the wrong animal home.
Tropical and aquarium
Keeping a freshwater tank? Alongside the marine, koi and reptile side of the shop, we have tropical fish and the aquarium equipment to look after them, and we're listed as a stockist for D-D The Aquarium Solution. Starting a new tank? Cycle it before any fish go in, and bring your questions.
We're a small independent shop, so take your time. The team like a proper chat about what you keep and what suits it.

Before you set off
The whole household
Fish and reptiles are only half the story here. There's everyone else at home too.

No. The A134 skirts the edge of Bury St Edmunds and you're on the A14 for only about two miles. We're on the north side of the A14, away from the town centre.
We open at 9:30am, Monday to Saturday. Sundays start at 10:00am. The drive typically takes about 23 minutes off-peak, so leaving Thetford at about 9am gets you here for a 9:30am opening.
Yes. Alongside tropical, marine and koi fish we keep exotic reptiles, and we'd always rather talk through heat, light and space before one goes home. Stock changes, so call 01284 703418 before the drive from Thetford if you're after a particular species, and bring the measurements of the vivarium you have in mind.
How we can help
Ring ahead if there's something specific on your list, then take the A134 south and the A14 west to Tut Hill.
